I love girls like you. Comfortable in your own skin and not afraid to show the world. I wish that it was easier for bigger girls to feel like they belong but in today's society it's just unrealistic to hope for everyone to be okay with themselves. Just thought I'd let you know I appreciate someone who can push past it all and ignore it, even :)

It’s my opinion that people chose their own mindset. I think you decide when you wake up each day (if you don’t have depression) whether to have a good attitude or a bad attitude and that can be about everything - life, work, your body etc.

I also think that once you embrace the fact that you’ll never be whatever society deems as perfect and you stop trying to please everyone - you become so much more free.

Do you feel that confidence helps you take a good picture? because it shows through and makes you look that much more sexier? I'm a big girl and I can't do what you do it at least I don't think it looks good like yours do. You look wonderful.. Idk if my question makes sense.. Is it also the angle your being photographed?

Well, I mean there are lessons that you learn in order to take a good pictures. You need to understand light, understand your camera. There are certain rules for how your subjects fills the frame - the rule of thirds etc.

And sure there are just some angels that the human body don’t really look good in so you want to avoid those.

But, I think you need a comfort in front of the camera. I’m not sure if it’s “confidence”. I’m going to say it’s the art of being casual. The reason I say this is I believe there are two types of people in the world the ones that HATE having their picture taken and the ones that don’t give a fuck.

The people who hate having their picture taken are always conscious of it. They know where the camera is, they know it’s pointed at them and for whatever reason they turn into a deer in headlights. They can’t just ACT CASUAL - they get all anxious, they try to pose too hard so they over pose and look weird. They pysch themselves out and you get a half smile, half talk, blinky thing going on…it’s just not good.

It doesn’t at all mean these people aren’t beautiful/good looking, they just - aren’t casual in front of the camera.

Then you have those other people who don’t care. That know some of the tips and tricks. They understand what they look like, possibly how they look best (pose wise) but ultimately they just really don’t care. They don’t care if you have a camera. They don’t care if you take 1 pictures or 500 pictures of them. And their open enough to look cute for a couple but then be a complete goof for the 450 shots and not care that you have these pictures or who you show because….THEY’RE FUNNY and it’s never the end of the world if someone has a bad picture of you.

To me that is very valuable and that’s what you need.

I can’t tell you how many bad pictures I have of myself. I used to do a “bloopers” set when I had my website of all the outtakes we took while shooting. Me jump, dancing, making stupid faces, eating, getting scared by my photographer, getting dressed and undressed in that no one is watching unflattering way.

To me you just need to embrace those things. No one looks picture perfect 100% of the time. No one is photoshopped 100% of the time.

So advice - stop caring. Be able to laugh at yourself. Don’t be afraid to bend and stretch and dance in front of the camera cause that’s how you get the most “movement” in your photos.

I always answer these things and feel like I haven’t been helpful at all.

I had one once that was incredible unsuccessful. However, there have been multiple people since who said they would be interested if I had a second one.

My new camera is currently broken and it’s going to be $400 to fix her which I don’t currently have. :(

I’m going to pull what I think are the best images together, there will be a couple pin up ones and the rest more artsy self portraits. If you have a favorite or one you’d be interested in send me a message or an email and I’ll make sure to make that one available to you.

8x10 will be $50

16x20 will be $100

Shipping to Canada and the US will be included - anywhere else I’ll have to do some research in order to get it to you OR we can work out something for a large digital copy so you can print it yourself.
